Shelagh Delaney sadly passed away last year, and this is a timely revival of her most famous work. Set in 1950s Manchester and exploring Britain on the precipice of change, it celebrates the spirit of one young girl with the strength to rebel against the social constraints of her time.
Leading the cast are Eva Pope (Coronation Street, Waterloo Road) as flighty mother Helen and Katie West as her fearless teenager Jo. Joining them are Christopher Hancock as Geoff, David Judge (Hollyoaks) as Jimmy and Andrew Knott (one of the original History Boys) as Peter.
The nice people at the Crucible have given us 3 pairs of tickets to give away. Winners could choose from one of the following three performances at the Crucible Theatre – Thursday 25, Friday 26 or Sat 27 October at 7.30pm.
In order to be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is answer the following.
Where was Shelagh Delaney born?
Please send your answer, along with your preferred date and full name to: [email protected] no later than 21st October.
