OnRoundhay & Leeds Indie Food Festival in partnership with John Lewis

Legendary promoter Harvey Goldsmith will be laying on the first music festival at Roundhay Park, in Leeds, in a decade on the 17th of September. OnRoundhay promises to be the ultimate day out with music, celebrity chefs, high quality street food, a cookery school and family entertainment.

The stellar music line-up, headlined by James and Primal Scream, also includes Wolf Alice, Max Jury and The Haggis Horns. The family-focussed festival will play host to a mouth-watering line-up of top food stars, John Lewis Chef Demo Stage. Top of the bill is author and chef Olia Hercules, cooking from her award winning book of traditional Ukrainian cooking Mamushka.

Firm favourites John Lewis, who are set to open their northern flagship store at Victoria Gate later this year, will also be on hand with an interactive Cookery School hosted by MasterChef semi-finalist (and Leeds local) Elizabeth Cottam, so festival-goers will be able to get properly hands on in the kitchen.

If that’s not enough, Leeds Indie Food are laying on an enormous foodie feast, with over 20 street food traders cooking innovative cuisine from all over the world. In a city becoming famous for its street food, OnRoundhay will host the biggest banquet of them all, with the best traders from the north and nationwide.

Tickets are on sale now, available from ticketmaster, and under 12s go free.
